Description of the medium-stiff belt plus SPOTTER D with a Cobra® 18kN D-Ring buckle

The belt is designed as an insert for belt pads with the PALS system for MOLLE, it can be used to support uniform trousers and attach equipment such as a knife sheath, organizer, tool or holster. It is perfect for jeans, combat trousers and trousers for field trips.

The Cobra® Pro Style buckle is made of aluminum (body), stainless steel (ear pins and self-locking beam) and brass (ears), in a specification with increased strength to 18kN.

The belt has a new webbing, manufactured especially for Bayonet, which is noticeably stiffer vertically (does not roll under weight), and horizontally still provides comfort and fit to the figure. The webbing provides better belt circumference retention when tugging on the belt, but this comes at the cost of slightly more difficult belt circumference adjustment. With Cobra® buckles, the belt circumference adjustment is done once, when putting the belt on the trousers, then the belt is unfastened with the ears on the buckle.

The belt is approximately 130 cm long and is universal, fully adjustable from 60 to 120 cm. For sizes below 80 cm, please enter your circumference in the comments so that we can shorten the belt being sent. Theoretical strength of the belt fastened in a loop is 31 kN (simplified approx. 3100 kg)

We attach a polymer, slightly elastic belt loop to the belt.

VERY IMPORTANT! The webbing of the adjustable belt end should be braided on the buckle in the correct way, as shown in the photos, according to the recommendations of the Cobra® buckle manufacturer. The end of the belt should be on the outside. The Cobra® buckle should be positioned as in the photo, with the inscriptions facing forward.

Webbing stiffness

The webbing have different stiffnesses, to help you choose the webbing for your specific needs, we have introduced the following division:

- rigid - usually a webbing sewn from double-folded medium-rigid webbing, it is difficult to bend it crosswise by squeezing it with your fingers, ideal for carrying even heavy uniformed services equipment without the discomfort caused by the webbing curling.

- medium-stiff PLUS - made of webbing with increased transverse stiffness, ideal as an insert for PALS to MOLLE comfort pads, for attaching a holster and standard equipment pouches, providing sufficient comfort during everyday wear in trousers, great as a service belt,

- medium-stiff - ideal for attaching a holster, pouches, especially for concealed carry and for carrying lighter equipment, fantastically suitable for everyday wear in trousers, a very successful compromise between comfort and stiffness,

- soft - comfortable, drapes, suitable for attaching very light accessories such as gloves, a light knife, ideal for light trousers, shorts and for more delicate applications, even for a suit,

- very soft - softness of seat belts, very comfortable, rather not suitable for loading with accessories, we do not produce such belts anymore.

Safety

Despite the use of specialist sewing, the best threads on the market with certified strength, a certified buckle and certified webbing, it is forbidden to use the belt for safety and rescue purposes. The belt has not undergone tests that would allow for issuing a "CE" safety certificate. This is primarily due to the requirements of the PL-EN 358:2002 standard Individual protective equipment determining work position and preventing falls from height, so that the belts are at least 8 cm wide along their entire length or 10 cm in the lumbar section, which automatically excludes the use of such a belt for trousers and carrying holsters and ammunition pouches.

Usage notes

The belt can be washed by hand or in a washing machine, in a delicate liquid, at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, without spinning, without softeners. Dry flat in a lying position, in a ventilated room, at room temperature. Do not dry in the sun or in an automatic dryer. The metal buckle can cause damage to the drum and other elements inside the washing machine, it should be secured with soft elements of clothing.

We improve our products

Due to small-scale production, individual elements of the set may differ slightly from those shown in the photos, the differences may concern, for example, the label, the method of sewing. We listen to the comments of our customers and improve small elements, without affecting the overall functionality of the product.

Aesthetics of buckles

Buckles are tools and are sent by the factory in a collective package without protection. There may be minimal errors in coloring, small scratches or micro bruises. In anodized buckles and with a hardcoated coating, there may be differences in the shade between the halves of the buckles. We eliminate larger defects by sending the buckles back to the factory. We try to ensure that the belts are of the highest quality, also in terms of aesthetics.
